Student Government

Last year Temple Student Government underwent a series of structural changes. While these changes had some positive effects for the student body, it is important to continue to work on behalf of our fellow students.

  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere that allows any and all students to join Temple Student Government.
  • Student Organizations frequently experience issues with room reservations, allocations, and simplicity. In order to address this, we are going to create a TSG online submission form for students to express any grievances they experience.
  • Creating a dialogue with students who are not members of a student organization. We will recruit a diverse group of students who appeal to different constituencies including, but not limited too, commuters, disabled, veteran students, and all other non-traditional students.
  • Government Affairs Committee
    • With the recent budget cuts Temple has been facing over the past two years, Temple Student Government needs to redevelop its efforts to prevent losing additional funds. We will create a Government Affairs Committee, responsible for creating a new agenda that will expand on our efforts to fight against Harrisburg.
  • Lead the Pennsylvania Association of State-Related Students (P.A.S.S.) to take on new tasks that will benefit all state related schools.
