Philadelphia

As the fifth largest city in America, Philadelphia has a vast array of opportunities available for students. The university has always made an effort to ensure that students explore the city and its unique culture.

• “Kids for College” - With so many public school throughout the Philadelphia area, TSG wants to team up with elementary schools across the city to show them what college life is all about.
  • Temple Student Government will organize a day for these young students to come to our campus and see what college life is all about by attending athletic events, touring campus, and having a fun time with Temple students.

• T.A.P. into the Philly Experience - Work with the most popular venues throughout the city to expand the TU-ID student discount program. Thus encouraging students to visit cultural or educational venues and special events throughout Philadelphia.

• Voter Registration - We encourage all students, regardless of political affiliation, to become more involved in the national, state, and city elections. TSG. will host a multitude of voter registration drives throughout the year.
  • We will utilize the OwlLoop and TUrDoor shuttles on Election Day(s) to take students to and from the polls that surround campus.
