Temple is an integral part of the North Philadelphia community. We want to mend the relationships between Temple and the local community by implementing a multitude of service projects as well as helping find safe housing for students.

  • TSG will complete 5 – 10 hours of community service each week in conjunction with different organizations (Ex. working with local schools and community centers).
    • Since community service is so popular amongst student organization we want to create an online bulletin forum so organizations can see what the different types of service projects we have available.
  • Adopt a block – Pair different student organizations together for community clean-ups and provide a stipend reward for best kept blocks.

    The goal of the Temple Student Government is “to provide a representative government, foster understanding and involvement among all members of the university community, advocate in the best interests of a diverse student body, serve as a conscience of the university administration in the management of this institution, hold the university administration accountable for the quality of student life, and act as the official voice of students in academic, institutional, and campus affairs.”
