TSG Green Team! During the nationwide Recyclemania contest, Temple University finished 181st of 288 participating schools. We plan to create the first “TSG Green Team” aimed at promoting and educating students on the importance of recycling.

  • Green Education! - Increase the number of recycling bins and bike racks available throughout our campus. More importantly create fun and interactive events to help educate students on the importance being green.
  • Green Event Certification - Student organizations can have their event certified as “Environmentally Friendly” if it meets the specified requirements.
  • “Temple at Night” – Decrease Temple’s use of light inside of buildings on campus after building close.

    The goal of the Temple Student Government is “to provide a representative government, foster understanding and involvement among all members of the university community, advocate in the best interests of a diverse student body, serve as a conscience of the university administration in the management of this institution, hold the university administration accountable for the quality of student life, and act as the official voice of students in academic, institutional, and campus affairs.”
